The threats facing your brand no longer look like the ones your crisis plan was written for. A deepfake video of your CEO. A flawless phishing email an AI wrote in seconds. A well-meaning employee who pastes confidential contracts into a public chatbot. These aren’t hypotheticals; they’re happening now, and they move faster than most organizations can react.
The problem usually isn’t a lack of talent. It’s that communications, systems, and leadership response haven’t caught up to how AI has changed the speed and shape of a crisis. When a threat can spread in minutes, the difference between a contained incident and a reputation-damaging event often comes down to a single early decision.
That’s the idea behind our new interactive challenge, Spot the AI Crisis.
How it works
In about three minutes, you’ll face seven real-world AI-era threats, one at a time. For each, you read the incoming signal and choose your first move. Right calls- the governed, human-in-the-loop response- raise your Crisis Readiness score. Wrong calls leave you exposed. At the end, you get a rating from Exposed to Crisis-Ready and a clear sense of where your team’s instincts are strong and where the gaps are.
Why the first move matters
Every scenario is built around a principle we bring to the organizations we work with: automation moves fast, but judgment, ethics, and accountability stay human. Whether it’s verifying a suspicious wire request through a separate channel, activating a pre-drafted crisis communications plan, or keeping a human in command of an AI agent under attack, the right first move is almost always the one that keeps people in control of the technology.
From awareness to readiness
Spotting a threat is the start. Turning that awareness into repeatable, governed response plans your whole team can follow under pressure is what actually protects your brand. That’s what our AI & Cyber Crisis Management guide and our CAIWRP (Certified AI Workforce Resiliency Professional) certification are built to do.
